On 1 October 2026, Mayor Silvia Drechsler and Councillor Günther Huber visited our foundry in Mödling. The occasion was the handover of Becker Guss to the next generation: Ing. Ernst Hrabalek, who shaped and built up the company over many years, is handing over the management to his son Patrick Hrabalek.
During a tour of the foundry, our guests saw up close what happens here every day. Our team showed live how a casting is poured, from the glowing metal to the finished form. Afterwards there was time for an open conversation about the future of the company, about craftsmanship and innovation, about the importance of traditional businesses for Mödling and about how we want to bring experience and new ideas together.
A change of generations is always a special moment for a family business. We are very pleased that the Municipality of Mödling marked this step with its visit. Our motto applies more than ever:
